I have maintained a plant-based lifestyle for the past 25 years and apply a daily conditioning treatment to my long, brown hair. I do not wash every day, but apply a hair conditioning treatment and hair oils (such as Bumble&Bumble, Therasilk, etc.). I do not smoke or drink alcohol, and am very health-conscious. I get compliments on my hair all the time, but never style it with any heat. On the days I do wash my hair, I simply towel dry and then let it dry naturally throughout the morning. My kids tell me constantly that my hair is very soft, but I know it is also quite strong. I’m willing to either cut the hair in a braid OR cut it in lots of tiny ponytails from my scalp (which will produce much longer pieces than the single braid) to give you the maximum amount of hair possible.
